Denzell Moore, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on February 9, 2022, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. near a sidewalk in the 1600 block of East 68th Street. According to the Chicago Police Department, Moore was shot in the chest and was subsequently transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
