Edjuan Stephen Wilson, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 13, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. Edjuan, affectionately known as "EJ," was shot while standing on the sidewalk in the 5900 block of West Madison Street in the South Austin neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5:25 p.m. when he was struck in the chest and leg by gunfire. Despite being rushed to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Edjuan succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
