Timothy D. Foreman Jr., a 40-year-old African American male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on March 8, 2022. Timothy was found with apparent gunshot wounds near W. Beverly Court and Knoxville Avenue at approximately 11:36 p.m. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at 12:21 a.m. on March 9, 2022. Timothy was known for his love of rap music, spending time with family and friends, and his dedication to his children. He was described as a "BIG HEARTED" individual who would do anything to help those in need, especially his family and friends.
The investigation into Timothy's death led to the arrest of 22-year-old Chazier Johnson on June 24, 2022. Johnson was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting. During the arrest, officers also detained 36-year-old Elliot Sanders and 40-year-old Demarcus Russell, who were found in possession of illegal firearms. Sanders faced charges for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, and not having a FOID card. Russell was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of a stolen firearm. All three individuals were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
The case remains under investigation, with authorities encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
