Death by Force

Robert Triplett, an 18-year-old African American male from Chicago Heights, was tragically killed on May 4, 2022, in a shooting incident at the Exotic Smoke Shop in Matteson, Illinois. The incident occurred late at night, and Triplett, along with another 18-year-old male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Triplett was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide.
