Jayarion Huddleston, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on May 8, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Near West Side neighborhood, specifically in the 2100 block of West Maypole Avenue. According to reports, Jayarion was standing in the kitchen of a home when gunfire erupted from the alley, striking him. The shots were fired around 9:35 p.m., and he was subsequently transported to Stroger Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
