Jalen Mimms, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on May 13, 2022, in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 7:25 p.m. while Jalen was near the sidewalk in the 6900 block of South Ada Street.
