Bobbye Farmby, a 35-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on June 1, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Washington Park neighborhood. According to reports, Bobbye Farmby left his home in the 6200 block of South King Drive and had a brief conversation with an individual outside an apartment. During this exchange, the person opened fire, striking Farmby in the chin. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
