Death by Force

On June 21, 2022, DeAngelo T. Johnson, a 27-year-old African American male from East St. Louis, Illinois, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 7:17 p.m. on Baker Avenue near South 15th Street. Police responded to the scene following reports of gunfire and found Johnson with fatal injuries.
