Sa’Qura Heard, a 17-year-old African American girl from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on July 17, 2022. Sa’Qura was a recent graduate of Johnson College Prep and had earned a full-ride scholarship to Southern Illinois University, where she planned to study nursing.
