Derrell Hull, a 46-year-old African American man, was found fatally shot on July 26, 2022, in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Officers discovered Hull on the ground in the 100 block of North LaCrosse Avenue around 9:25 p.m. He was immediately transported to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was pronounced dead.
