Hispanic/Latino male Cristian Alexander Martinez-Ordaz, age 16, was riding through Chicago's Brighton Park before dawn on July 31, 2022, when the car he was in stopped at a red light in the 4700 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
In that still moment, someone opened fire.
As shots pierced the car, the driver fled forward, and the vehicle slammed into a tree a block north on Kedzie.
