Jose Morales, a 38-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, specifically in the 4800 block of South Wolcott Avenue. According to reports, Morales was shot in the abdomen while he was on a sidewalk, just two blocks from his home. He was immediately transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
