Eric Armstrong, 44, a Black/African American male, was discovered unresponsive on a summer Wednesday night in Chicago’s East Garfield Park, along the 2600 block of West Wilcox Street. Officers responding around 9:15 p.m. found he had been shot in the head; medics rushed him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
