Earnest Harris Jr., a 44-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 27, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Hyde Park neighborhood, where Harris was sitting in the driver's seat of a parked car around 9:20 p.m. when an unidentified male approached and fired multiple shots at him. Harris was subsequently transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
