Oral Woods, a 70-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on October 15, 2022, in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 00-99 block of West 87th Street. According to reports, the shooting happened during an argument at a CTA station in the Chatham area. Woods was pronounced dead at the scene, marking another instance of gun violence in the city.
