In the autumn of 2009, the life of 17-year-old Darius Anderson, a Black male, was tragically cut short on the streets of West Baltimore. On the evening of October 2nd, violence erupted near the intersection of West Lafayette Avenue and North Payson Street, a neighborhood already troubled by a high rate of violent crime.
