Alexis S. Wesley, a 29-year-old African American woman, was tragically found dead on December 25, 2022, in Maywood, Illinois. Her body was discovered inside a parked car with a gunshot wound to her head. The incident occurred in the 800 block of South Kolmar Avenue in West Garfield Park, Chicago, but her body was later found in Maywood. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed her identity and the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.
