Marvin Jesse Gravitt, a 52-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on April 17, 1964, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Gravitt, who was a police officer with the Gwinnett County Police Department, was killed in the line of duty. On that fateful day, Officer Gravitt, along with Officers Jerry Everett and Ralph Davis, responded to a suspicious activity call on Arc Way in Norcross.
