Timothy Barnes Jr., a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 2, 2021, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Timothy was a sophomore at Central Gwinnett High School. He was shot in the head while waiting for his school bus in the Saddle Shoals neighborhood off Spring Lake Road. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on November 2, 2021.
