In the spring of 1978, a brave Atlanta police officer's life was cut tragically short in the line of duty. Frank Robert Schlatt, a 30-year-old male, was a dedicated officer with five years of service to the Atlanta Police Department. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran who had served his country in the Vietnam War.
