Conway Herbeck, a 20-year-old Navy seaman, was brutally murdered on April 4, 1993, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Herbeck, who was stationed on the U.S.S. Forrestal in Pensacola, Florida, had traveled to Warner Robins with two fellow sailors, Travis Clinton Hittson and Edward Vollmer.
