In the early morning hours of January 22, 1994, the vibrant life of Rhett Forrester, a 37-year-old White male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Atlanta, Georgia. Forrester, a musician renowned for his powerful vocals as the former lead singer of the heavy metal band Riot, was the victim of a fatal shooting during an attempted carjacking. The incident occurred at the intersection of Lovejoy Street and Merritts Avenue.
