Antoine DeAndre Lucas, a 9-year-old African American boy, tragically passed away on July 12, 1999, in Atlanta, Georgia. His death was a significant loss to his family and community. Antoine's funeral services were held on July 17, 1999, at LaFayette High School Auditorium in LaFayette, Alabama, where he was later buried in Handy Cemetery.
