In the summer of 1999, Scott Allyn Webb, a 30-year-old Caucasian male, was working as a day trader at Momentum Securities Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from San Mateo County, California, he had moved to Atlanta to further his career in the high-stakes world of day trading. Just days before the tragic event that would cut his life short, Webb had celebrated a personal victory, winning his first amateur tennis championship.
