Jennifer Ann Gatewood, a 25-year-old woman from Union City, GA, was found dead on April 5, 2014. Her body was discovered in a room at the Garden Inn and Suites located at 6170 Shannon Parkway. The Union City Police Department responded to the scene just after 4:30 a.m. and found Gatewood unresponsive. She had been shot to death, and the investigation quickly turned into a homicide case.
