Amira Cameron, a 15-year-old African American girl, was tragically killed on October 4, 2015, in Union City, Georgia. Amira was an innocent bystander when a car drove past a group of kids she was with and opened fire. The Union City Police determined that the group was targeted because one person standing nearby was involved in a rival gang. Amira, who had no gang affiliations, was struck by a bullet and killed instantly.
