Cornelius Driver Jr., a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 27, 2015, in Rome, Georgia. The incident occurred near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Grover Street around 3 p.m. Driver was shot multiple times and was subsequently taken to Floyd Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
