In the spring of 2015, the life of 19-year-old Marquis Reginald Lowe was cut short in a violent encounter in Macon, Georgia. An African American male, Lowe was fatally shot on the evening of Saturday, March 28, 2015, at an abandoned car wash situated at the corner of Main Street and Jones Avenue.
