In the late afternoon of May 15, 2015, a tragic event unfolded inside a Buford, Georgia, apartment that claimed the life of 27-year-old Marquez Glover. Responding to a 911 call at approximately 4:43 p.m., Gwinnett County police discovered Glover's body just inside the entrance of his residence at 2606 Hartford Run. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators quickly identified a suspect in the fatal shooting. The following day, Keenan Morey Robinson, a 26-year-old from Douglasville, was apprehended. Authorities believe that the motive for the deadly encounter was robbery. Robinson was subsequently charged with murder and armed robbery in connection with Glover's death.
Following his arrest, Keenan Morey Robinson was held without bond at the Gwinnett County jail. At the time of the incident, it was reported that Robinson had a prior criminal record, including a conviction for burglary in Douglas County, for which he had been released from prison in March of the previous year and was on parole. The investigation into the shooting suggested that Robinson was identified as a person of interest early on in the case.
