An African American male, Marquivius Brockington, 24, was shot and killed in his Valdosta, Georgia, home on June 5, 2015. The tragic night unfolded just before midnight on Fortress Circle when police, responding to reports of gunfire, were flagged down by a woman who had witnessed a harrowing scene.
