Jared Smith, an 8-year-old boy from Suwanee, Georgia, tragically passed away on July 22, 2015. Jared, along with his 9-year-old brother Jacob Smith and their mother Rebecca Manning, 37, were victims of a horrific murder-suicide. The incident occurred at their home on Old Atlanta Road in Forsyth County. The perpetrator, identified as Rebecca Manning's husband, Matthew Fields, 32, fatally shot his family before turning the gun on himself.
