In the small city of Thomson, Georgia, a tragedy unfolded on the night of October 12, 2015, forever altering the lives of a local family. On that Monday evening, at approximately 10:30 PM, officers from the Thomson Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Gus Street following a report of a shooting.
