Lizzy Williams, a 59-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on April 22, 2016, in Appling, Georgia. Her death was part of a horrific mass shooting that claimed the lives of five individuals, including Lizzy and her 62-year-old husband, Shelly Williams. The incident occurred at their residence on Washington Road, where both were found dead from gunshot wounds.
