In a tragic turn of events on a Thursday evening in Jonesboro, Georgia, a family dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving a young man dead and his father in custody. The life of 23-year-old Akeem Perry was cut short on June 2, 2016, following a heated argument that turned violent. The male victim was at a residence on Whaleys Lake Drive when the altercation with his father, 51-year-old James Perry, became physical.
