On January 27, 2015, Maria Lourdes Soza, a 32-year-old mother, was tragically shot and killed in San Francisco while watching her children play outside their home on Ingalls Street. The shooting occurred during a drive-by incident, where Soza was likely trying to shield her children from the gunfire.
