On August 1, 2015, 19-year-old Ranisha Monique Raven was tragically killed in a shooting in San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Buchanan and Eddy Streets, an area already known for its struggles with crime and violence. Raven was among three individuals shot that night.
