Malik Jackson, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 1, 2016, in Savannah, Georgia. Malik was shot in Lamarville Park, an incident that shocked the local community. He was taken to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances surrounding his death were deeply troubling, as it was later revealed that the shooting occurred during an attempted armed robbery.
