On New Year's Day in 2011, a young life was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. Marquise Hall, a 16-year-old Black male, was shot multiple times in the 500 block of North Lakewood Avenue. The incident occurred in the early evening, around 4:57 p.m., casting a somber shadow over the beginning of the new year.
