In the late summer of 2016, the quiet community of Watkinsville, Georgia, was disturbed by the discovery of a man's body. On August 27th, law enforcement officials found the remains of 32 year old Rendell Joman Cunningham, a resident of Lancaster, South Carolina, in a secluded area off of Fambrough Cemetery Road. The investigation into his death quickly turned into a homicide case, sparking a multi-state search for the individual responsible for his killing.
