Quintavious Barber Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2017, in McDonough, Georgia. The incident occurred during a gun trade in the parking lot of the Sable Chase Apartments. Barber met with Deshaun Middlebrooks and Tory Jaleel Jones for the transaction. Before the deal could be completed, Middlebrooks opened fire, shooting both Barber and another individual, Keundre Chappell.
