In the winter of 2017, a tragic event unfolded in Albany, Georgia, that cut short the life of 24-year-old Keyon Branch, an African American male. On the morning of January 26th, Branch was inside a residence on Maryland Drive when a violent attack occurred. The incident, which was classified as a homicide, also resulted in the death of 67-year-old Brenda Forrester and left three other individuals wounded.
