Anthony Wright, a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot in Albany, Georgia, in the summer of 2017. The incident occurred on July 11, 2017, stemming from a dispute on Facebook. Wright was reportedly defending his sister from a violent altercation that had escalated from the online social media interaction. He was a graduate of Catapult Academy in Albany, where he was voted 'most likely to succeed' by his classmates, and was preparing to enlist in the U.S. Army, following in his father's footsteps.
