D'Varri Canady, a 14-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on October 12, 2020, in Albany, Georgia. The incident occurred during a violent shooting at a residence on Wingate Avenue. D'Varri was one of the victims in a drive-by shooting that also claimed the life of 26-year-old Wontania Jermaine Hall Jr. Both victims were struck by multiple bullets and were pronounced dead at the scene by the Dougherty County Coroner.
