In the summer of 2017, a father of five named Troy Lambert was fatally shot in his car outside an Atlanta food mart. The incident occurred on June 28 outside the Discount Food Mart located in the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Police arrested Torry Wyche in connection with the shooting. Wyche was subsequently charged with murder and simple battery. Another man, Carey Grant, was also shot in the leg during the incident. Grant attempted to drive away from the scene but crashed ...
