John Lee Hunter Jr., a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 1, 2017, in Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on West 45th Street, near the Island Breeze Club. Savannah-Chatham Metro police responded to reports of a shooting around 12:50 a.m. and found John Lee Hunter Jr. with fatal gunshot wounds.
