Larry Stewart, a 24-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on December 1, 2017, in East Point, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Stewart was attempting to sell his PlayStation through the OfferUp app when the transaction turned deadly. He met the prospective buyer, Quantavious Poole, at an apartment complex on Kenelworth Drive. During the meeting, Poole shot Stewart multiple times in the chest. Despite efforts by first responders, Stewart succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
