William Carter Lee, a 65-year-old African American male, was found dead in his apartment in West Point, Georgia, on December 18, 2017. The West Point Police Department responded to a call at midnight regarding a possible shooting at 1303 Avenue K, Apt. B. Upon arrival, officers and EMS personnel discovered Lee sitting on the couch, unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and abdomen.
