James Marchman, a 34-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on March 8, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. His body was discovered in the 7100 block of Butner Road, an area where new homes were being constructed. James had come to Atlanta to visit friends but never made it back home. His body was found with gunshot wounds, and he was left to die in a ditch in an undeveloped subdivision known as Butner Estates.
