The 58-year-old man's remains were discovered in a burn pile by his son on July 5, 2018, kicking off a complex investigation that would unravel a story of marital strife, infidelity, and greed. Initially, it was suggested that Gary, who was known to have medical issues, might have had an accident and fallen into the fire.
