Giovani Cruz, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on March 10, 2022, in Alpharetta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when a gunman entered the home where Giovani lived with his family. The assailant, identified as 34-year-old Juan Escalante-Alarcon, shot and killed both Giovani and his 35-year-old cousin, Ivan Cordero.
